I was reading that many people have a magnesium deficiency and that it can have a negative impact on sleep. So I grabbed someĀ magnesium flakesĀ and essential oils and made a sleep spray that I keep on my nightstand. I grabbed calming oils like lavender and roman chamomile and clary sage to support my hormones. To make the sleepy spray you’ll need:
1 ounceĀ magnesium flakes
5 dropsĀ lavender
5 dropsĀ roman chamomile
3 dropsĀ clary sage
Fill aĀ 2 ounce glass spray bottleĀ half way with magnesium flakes. Add essential oils and fill the rest of the bottle up with distilled water. To use, gently shake the bottle and spray on the bottom of your feet before bed. Sweet dreams!
There are other diy sleep items you can make too to make bedtime a little easier.
