This soothing herbal blend is packed with adaptogens—my new favorite word! Adaptogens are powerful plants that help the body find balance, especially during times of stress. In today’s fast-paced world where cortisol levels often run high, this tea offers gentle support for your adrenal glands and helps promote a sense of calm and resilience.
This cozy bedtime drink features ashwagandha (also known as Indian ginseng) blended with coconut milk and tart cherry juice. It’s quickly become a favorite evening ritual. It’s the perfect calming sip to wind down before bed.
You’ll need:
1/2 cup tart cherry juice
1/2 cup almond milk
1/4 cup coconut milk (from can)
1/2 teaspoon lavender (mountain rose herbs | starwest botanicals | amazon)
1 teaspoon raw honey (or maple/agave)
1/2 teaspoon ashwagandha powder (mountain rose herbs | starwest botanicals | amazon)
1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
pinch of himalayan pink salt (mountain rose herbs | amazon)
In a small pot/pan, add almond milk, coconut milk, tart cherry juice, honey, vanilla, ashwagandha, and salt. Whisk until combined. Heat over medium until simmering. Remove from heat and add lavender. Cover with lid and let steep for 5 minutes. Pour into mug over a strainer to remove the lavender. Blend in blender if you prefer the drink more foamy.
You’re worth some self-care mama!
