When I was little the icecream truck in our neighborhood would have 50/50 bars, which now are called creamcicles. Did anyone else have 50/50 bars?
If there’s an orange skittle, it’s mine. Christmas candy? I wanted the orange ones. So it should come as no surprise that this lip balm is my favorite!
DIY Creamsicle Lip Balm Recipe
1/2 ounce Beeswax Pastilles
1/2 ounce Coconut Oil
1/2 ounce Mango Butter
30 drops Orange
2 tsp Mexican Vanilla
Melt beeswax, coconut oil and mango butter in a double boiler. Remove from heat and let sit 3 minutes. Add Mexican Vanilla and orange essential oil. Pour mixture into lip balm tins and let cool. This recipe fills 3 tins.
DIY Creamsicle Lip Balm Labels
Like my mom always says, “It has to meet with the total design.” So you know I had to design a cute label to go with them! Don’t they make the sweetest gifts?
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
Printable Creamsicle Lip Balm Label
Avery 1 1/2 inch circle label sheet
1 1/2 inch circle punch
8 1/2 x 11 Vinyl Label
I love how versatile these essential oils are! There are plenty of other items you can make too that save you money and you know don’t have anything harmful in them.
🌿 New to Herbalism?
Not sure which herbs are actually worth buying? I put together my personal Mountain Rose Herbs shopping guide with three complete herbal pantries:
💧 Hydration Pantry (around $100)
🌿 Home Apothecary (around $200)
🌙 Evening Ritual Collection (around $300)
Each one includes the exact herbs I recommend, what you can make with them, and why they've earned a permanent place in my own herbal pantry.
