I found the cutest teapot at a local thrift shop. I couldn’t wait to brew some chamomile tea in it! The magical thing about thrifting is that you just never know what you might find. It’s like a treasure hunt. This is why I thrift.

Taking a few moments to make myself some tea in a teapot served in a floral teacup gives me all the cozy heartwarming vibes. More of this please!

Simmering this earthy, herbal broth today for a little gut and immune support. There’s nothing like sipping on a warm nourishing broth full of herbal medicine, especially when you aren’t feeling your best.

Today’s broth includes chicken legs, reishi mushroom slices, a head of garlic, leeks, lemon slices, carrots, celery, fresh sage, rosemary, thyme and oregano, jalapeno, astragalus root, calendula and peppercorns.

Cover with water and simmer 6-8 hours. This allows the hot water to extract the benefits from all that goodness.

This broth is so healing and soothing, and is a wonderful way to support your immune system during times of stress.

Before serving, I season the broth with freshly squeezed lemon juice, and salt + pepper to taste.

Tabouli is a super fresh herb and bulgur salad, with parsley, tomatoes and other herbs.

It’s one of those yummy dishes you see in lebanese or mediterranean restaurants.

My mom and I were in NYC one day and stopped at a deli for some snacks. We got some hummus, pita and decided to try tabouli. We’ve been making ever since.

I typically add some cucumber, but they went bad. boo. It still tastes delicious though. You can add a small bit of mint too. It’s dressed simply in freshly squeezed lemon juice, good olive oil and salt. So good!
