For a very long time, like most moms, I put myself last. I thought I was taking care of my family, but the truth was, I wasn’t giving them my best because I wasn’t at my best myself. Now, however,  I take self care very seriously. You can’t pour from an empty cup, or so they say!

One of my pampering self care activities are weekly face masks. They are so easy to make, there’s really no excuse not to take a little time for yourself.

You’ll need:

1 tbs bentonite clay (amazon | mountain rose herbs | starwest botanicals)
1/4 tsp activated charcoal (amazon | starwest botanicals)
1/2 tsp honey
1 1/2 tsp water
3 drops lavender essential oil (mountain rose herbs | far & wild | amazon)
2 drops frankincense essential oil (mountain rose herb | far & wild | amazon)

For extra savings, use code ELISA20 from far and wild to save 20%.

Add just enough water to make a paste and brush it on your face with a brush like this or use your fingers. Personally, I like the brush. 🙂 Let sit for about 10-15 minutes or until it dries. Then wash off with warm water and moisturize.
