Are you on the pre-thanksgiving or post-thanksgiving Christmas decor train? We are definitely on the pre thanksgiving around here! We like to take our time decorating little by little thoughout november and avoid the day after thanksgiving mad rush.

We found this great tip totally by accident. You know that tree sap from buying your tree? It’s so hard to get off, but we found that this peppermint sugar scrub does the trick! Plus the peppermint is so soothing, so it also works great on your feet. They make such a simple and sweet christmas gift. To make them you’ll need:

Peppermint Sugar Scrub Ingredients

1/2 cup Brown Sugar
1/4 cup Jojoba Oil
10 drops Peppermint
4 oz Jar

Just wrap some red and white bakers twine around them with a little holly sprig and you have the perfect gift! There are plenty of other items you can make too that both save you money and you know don’t have anything harmful in them.
