i’m brewing up some lavender tea for a mocktail. Many use lavender as a cologne, or linen mist, but did you know you can make a tea too?

Lavender is a nervine, which means it’s a plant that supports the nervous system. It can promote relaxation and ease tension, so adding it to a mocktail is a perfect idea in the evening.

Oh and this teapot is perfect! I can add so many more herbs to it since the strainer is on the top instead of shoving them in that little metal ball. Perfect find for sure.

Those words were such a revelation to me. I was engaged when I was 30. He called off the wedding because I found faith and he wasn't aligned to my new outlook on life. I was devastated.

I chose to stand firm. No way could I go back to how I used to be. Once you wake up, you just can't go back to sleep. It didn't turn out how I wanted, but you know what? A few years later I took a tae bo class and ended up marrying the instructor!

23 years later we are still together! Bad things happen. But we get to choose how to respond to them. It might just be a blessing in disguise!
