This sinus ick is stubborn as heck! Almost everyone i know has struggled with it in one form or another. I’ve been drinking this tea all week and it’s been helping for sure! To make it you’ll need:
1 tsp mullein (mountain rose herbs | amazon)
1 tsp horehound (mountain rose herbs | amazon)
1 tsp peppermint (mountain rose herbs | amazon)
1 tsp oregano (mountain rose herbs | amazon)
Add your herbs to a french press or teapot with a strainer. Brew for 5-7 minutes, strain and enjoy. I like to add a little honey to mine too.
- horehound: increases the secretion of thinner mucus to break up congestion. it’s a great remedy for coughing.
- oregano: useful for infections of the respiratory and digestive tracts.
- mullein: has a soothing hydrating effect on the lungs and contain saposins that loosen mucus. helpful for colds and coughs.
- peppermint: settles the stomach and tastes good.

If you don’t want to purchase all the individual herbs, but would like to try the tea blend, you can find it premade and ready to use in my shop.
