In our modern world, stress seems to follow us everywhere, and our adrenal glands can feel overworked from constant cortisol spikes. That’s why I’m loving adaptogens lately—plants that help the body find balance and support resilience during stressful times. This cozy bedtime tea is a gentle, calming ritual that nourishes both body and mind, helping you unwind before sleep.

The star of this blend is ashwagandha, also known as Indian ginseng, a powerful adaptogen known for reducing stress, supporting adrenal health, and promoting restful sleep. Paired with creamy coconut milk and almond milk, a splash of tart cherry juice, soothing lavender, a touch of honey, and warming vanilla, this tea is like a hug in a mug.

Benefits of Each Ingredient:

  • Ashwagandha: Reduces stress, supports adrenal function, and encourages calm sleep.
  • Tart Cherry Juice: Naturally rich in melatonin, helping regulate sleep cycles, and contains antioxidants that support recovery.
  • Coconut Milk: Contains healthy fats that help stabilize blood sugar and provide a creamy texture for comfort.
  • Almond Milk: Light and soothing, a gentle base for bedtime drinks.
  • Lavender: Promotes relaxation, reduces anxiety, and encourages a peaceful sleep.
  • Raw Honey: Naturally sweetens while providing antimicrobial and antioxidant properties.
  • Vanilla Extract: Offers calming aromatics and a cozy, comforting flavor.
  • Himalayan Pink Salt: Adds trace minerals and balances flavors.

To make it you’ll need:

1/2 cup tart cherry juice
1/2 cup almond milk
