We've been struggling with some icky congestion around here, so i've been drinking my immuni-tea blend daily to help.

If you want to try it at home, add 1 teaspoon each horehound, oregano, mullein and peppermint to 8 oz hot water.

Steep 5-10 minutes. Strain and add a little bit of honey. To kick it up a notch, brew it along with your favorite citrus, some herbs like rosemary and thyme and some cranberries or pomegranate seeds. It's really yummy.

i started meal prepping for myself last year because my husband and son don’t like to eat the same way that i do.

fast forward, there are some of you that like what i eat too and so I started to meal prep for you! It’s one of my favorite things to do. I make 5 breakfasts and 5 lunches and typically a little extra something.

breakfast
banana cashew protein overnight oats
nutella yogurt bowl
cottage cheese egg bites
blueberry muffins with yogurt
coconut raspberry chia pudding

lunch
cauliflower beet root salad
ham & swiss lunchable
chicken bake
roasted beet, brussels sprouts & quinoa salad
cream of mushroom soup

extra: beef bone broth

this sinus ick is stubborn as heck! almost everyone i know has struggled with it in one form or another.

this immunitea blend has been such a big help. it contains:
horehound: increases the secretion of thinner mucus to break up congestion. it’s a great remedy for coughing.
oregano: useful for infections of the respiratory and digestive tracts.
mullein: has a soothing hydrating effect on the lungs and contain saposins that loosen mucus. helpful for colds and coughs.
peppermint: settles the stomach and tastes good.

i combine the blend in my favorite teapot that has the strainer in the lid so i can fill it with blood orange slices, rosemary, cinnamon and pomegranate seeds.

The marshmallow plant aka Althaea officinalis, is a flowering herb that can be found growing in damp areas along seas, river banks, and marshes. It’s part of the mallow family, hence the name marshmallow.

It's known mainly for its mucilage properties making it an effective remedy for soothing irritation & inflammation in the mucus membranes.

It's traditionally used for digestive issues, respiratory problems and skin health.
