Moon milk is a soothing warm beverage commonly found in ayurvedic traditions that we drink before bed to help us sleep better and relieve stress and feelings of anxiousness. Basically they consist of adaptogens, spice, milk and honey. This one has warm autumn spices and pumpkin. I’m not ashamed to be on the all things pumpkin train either. I love all things pumpkin but I’m not a fan of t I love all things pumpkin but I’m not a fan of the sugary fake syrup you can grab at the local coffee shop or grocery aisle. I mean, they don’t even have pumpkin in them! So I decided to make my own that tastes amazing and no fake stuff. To make it you’ll need: 1 & 1/2 cups of water 1 cup of sugar 1/2 cup of brown sugar 2 tsp of a pumpkin spice blend 1/4 cup of pumpkin puree 2 cinnamon sticks to a sauce pan Stir together and bring to a simmer over low heat. Let this simmer for 5 minutes, stirring every minute or so. Turn off the heat and let cool completely before transferring to a pour spout container and storing in the fridge. Enjoy! strawberry shortcake rolled oats I tend to go bac strawberry shortcake rolled oats I tend to go back and forth between rolled oats and chia pudding for breakfast. today i was in the mood for rolled oats with strawberries. to make it you’ll need: 1/2 cup rolled oats 1/2 cup oat milk 1/4 cup greek yogurt handful of strawberries 1 tablespoon chia seeds 1 tablespoon maple syrup Add oat milk and strawberries to a nutribullet and blend well. Add rolled oats, chia seeds, maple syrup and greek yogurt to a container along with strawberry milk. mix together well. Put in the refrigerator overnight. When ready to eat, top with additional sliced strawberries and crumbled graham cracker. Enjoy!

I intuitively felt drawn to basil, so I went in the backyard and picked both the purple and genovese varieties. I added some hot water over them in a bowl to make a tea that I added to the tub. Basil has many properties that can benefit your bath, including antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. The smell of basil can help reduce stress and anxiety. i found a post by @theflowerchildbruja about basil baths with even more interesting info! In many traditions, basil is believed to ward off negative energy, cleanse the aura, and attract positive vibrations, making it an essential ally in spiritual baths. Basil baths are often prescribed to cleanse the body and spirit of negative influences, restore balance, and promote overall well-being. The herb’s fragrant leaves are believed to drive away malevolent spirits and invite positive energies, making it a staple in spiritual and healing practices. I soaked for a bit and slept for several hours. I gotta say I’m feeling much better! I’m loving my herbalism life!
